Panel discussion on Art, Gender & Resilience moderated by Jason Jackson.

Resilience is a springing back into life. It is renewal, revitalization, regrowth, rebirth. It is flexibility, adaptability, and elastic strength. Resilience is remembering how to stay grounded, and how to come back to our power so that we can take on new challenges. Resilience is what we need so that we can take risks. It is realizing our worthiness so that we can continue to move forward, so we can lean into our lives and our communities. Resilience is a joyful bounce, a lighthearted leap, a face toward the sun.

The University of Minnesota Transgender Commission, a group of volunteers working to make the U of M a better place for people of all genders, is proud to announce our 8th annual Transgender Commission Celebration. This year's event is co-sponsored by KFAI radio!!

The event is free, open to the public, and will be catered by Brasa! The show will be documented and broadcast later on KFAI's "What’s In the Mix".
