KFAI is proud to support the Red House Live concert series presenting smart songwriters and skilled musicians the third Friday of each month through December.
On Friday, September 21st, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Tracy Grammer comes to St. Paul for solo performance on acoustic guitar. Fans can expect to hear some favorites as well as songs from the big release which came out earlier this year, "Little Blue Egg," featuring previously-unreleased songs by Grammer and her late partner Dave Carter. People new to Grammer's music will enjoy the intimate setting in which to hear her well-crafted songs and the ideas behind them. The Landmark Center's Weyerhauser Auditorium brings out the storyteller in every artist, and you know folk musicians have a lot of stories! Please join KFAI and Red House in welcoming Tracy on Friday. Arrive early for food from Ginkgo Coffeehouse and the series' signature cocktail--on Friday it's the "Blue Egg."
