In her first ever Minneapolis appearance, Danish-Norwegian psaligraphist Karen “Bit” Vejle will speak to repurposing Denmark’s long tradition of papercutting (psaligraphy) for a contemporary audience, creating wall-sized works with elaborate and delicate detail.
Vejle will speak at 6:30 p.m. in Larson Hall. Exhibit highlight tours of "Papercut!" led by ASI staff will be offered at 5 p.m., 5:45 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. FIKA will be open until 7 p.m. for dinner and drinks, and advance dinner reservations will be available. The Museum Shop will be open until 7 p.m.
