From the fiery to the sublime, experience the rich yet rarely-explored world of Scandinavian 18th century music. This program features modern-day regional premieres of violin sonatas and harpsichord works by Johan Helmich Roman, called 'the Father of Swedish Music,' Norwegian violin virtuoso Johann Henrik Freithoff, and Finnish composer Thomas Byström, and more. Marc Levine, baroque violin and Henry Lebedinsky, harpsichord.
