Gregory Alan Isakov with Jeffrey Foucault
Sunday, July 28, 2013 - 7:30pm
KFAI is proud to sponsor the return of Gregory Alan Isakov to the Cedar Cultural Center, Sunday, July 28, at 7:30 pm, following up on his spellbinding show there in October 2011.
Four years after his ground-breaking "This Empty Northern Hemisphere," Gregory has a new album, "The Weatherman," coming out this month, making this a terrific opportunity to hear his new songs.
Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and calling Colorado home, Gregory Alan Isakov has been traveling all his life. Songs that reveal a masterful quality beyond his years tell a story of miles and landscapes, and the search for a sense of place.
With influences including Leonard Cohen and Bruce Springsteen, he has been described as “strong, subtle, a lyrical genius.”
New England singer-songwriter Jeffrey Foucault (also of Redbird) opens.
More information is available from the events page at The Cedar, or by calling The Cedar at 612-338-2674.
