Join us for a film screening highlighting dance and water issues from Global Water Dances (GWD) events around the world. GWD is a worldwide phenomenon that brings together over 18,000 people in 60 cities on six continents to focus on local water issues, challenges and solutions.
This film screening is designed to coincide with the United Nations’ World Water Day, March 22. The videos will be introduced by local luminaries in the environmental-water field from organizations including the Center for Global Environmental Education at Hamline University, the Watershed Partners, Friends of the Mississippi River, and H2O For Life Schools. In addition, environmental studies students from local colleges and universities will present. Like all GWD events, this film screening is FREE and open to the public.
Desserts will be served
