Twin Cities folk/Americana artist TIM CHEESEBROW announces completion of SOPHOMORE RECORD ‘HOME IN THE HEARTLAND’ – AVAILABLE NOW at

Find your way home with a copy of the highly anticipated second release from Twin Cities musician Tim Cheesebrow. Home in the Heartland is a collection of songs that reflect one man’s journey to lay down roots, starting a family in Twin Cities; an experience which many share.

Written in seclusion at a cabin on Leech Lake and funded in February 2013 through a successful crowdfunding campaign, Home in the Heartland is an intimate look inside the soul of a true Minnesotan that shares the easily relatable stories he says “looks outward to his circle of family, community and world” to find “little joys, big ideas and moments worth holding onto that make up our messy, beautiful daily lives.”

Home in the Heartland includes nearly every genre a music enthusiast could hope for. Some tracks are slow and graceful while others touch on immigrant roots with folky melodies. There are contemplative songs that call for a greater sense of community and some toe-tappers that can only be remedied with dancing shoes.

The artfully crafted folk-roots inspired music is amplified by guest appearances from some of the area’s heaviest hitting artists including percussionist Marc Anderson, mandolin phenom Peter Ostroushko, accordionist Dan Newton, pianist Kevin Gastonguay, banjo player and Jazz88 personality, Phil Nusbaum, the Jack Brass Band, steel guitarist John Schjolberg, and the ukulele-slinging songwriter Katy Vernon.

Home in the Heartland was recorded at Essential Sessions Studio in Falcon Heights, Minn.

Tim Cheesebrow is known throughout the Twin Cities’ indie circuit for producing and performing inspirational, fun and substantive music the whole family can enjoy. Tim, also a professional photographer with his wife Jenn, owns and operates Cheesebrow Photography and is the founder of MusicWorks Minnesota, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting emerging artists and developing Minnesota as a great place to make new, original music.
