Minnesota’s remarkable culture of philanthropy and social justice gave rise three decades ago to The Advocates for Human Rights. Ever since, our knowledge, capacity and reach have grown with the support of our donors and volunteers that make our work possible. We stand at this milestone prepared to engage the pressing human rights issues of our times.
Acclaimed as “the premier men’s vocal ensemble in the United States” (Fanfare),Cantus is committed to inspiring audiences with music performed at the highest level. Rehearsing and performing without a conductor or music director, the nine members of Cantus are renowned for adventurous programming spanning many periods and genres, including work commissioned specifically for the group.
