Boiled in Lead Acoustic Yule Party

This show will be a "Yule Party" - a holiday event with special guests, including a traditional mummers mystery play and 'The Short Swords', a rapper sword dance team.

BiL will also play selections from their 2012 recording "The Well Below." This four-song EP is the first from the band's current lineup with Marc Anderson on drum kit and percussion. It showcases the band's range, from the Minnesota ballad "Western Borders" to the spooky Irish song "The Well Below The Valley" and an uptempo set of Eastern European dances. Of the new recording, reviewer Chris Nickson said, "“BiL remain one of the most creative American bands, fashioning old forms into new; musical alchemists of the highest order as this EP shows.”
