ADC Commerce and Community Conversation

Date:
Thursday, August 15, 2013 - 7:30am to 9:00am

The African Development center is truly proud of the diverse list of hosts it has accumulated over the years for its monthly community roundtable discussions. From University Presidents to business owners and even the state Governor, the Commerce and Community Conversation is successfully playing its role as a venue to inform and instill civic engagement. This month is no exception, with Mortenson Construction President, David C. Mortenson as the lead presenter.

ADC invites you to sign up on our website to attend what will be a very insightful discussion of this influential entity in charge of substantial development projects, including the upcoming new Vikings stadium. As always, these events are free to the public – just be sure to reserve your spot by registering.

These community discussions were developed as the ADC Business Breakfast Roundtable in 2010 to better facilitate dialogue in our community, connect individuals who otherwise may not cross paths, and to increase knowledge of institutions, systems, laws, tools, etc. for a more informed community. Since its inception, the roundtable has been a great success, drawing together people from all backgrounds and touching on numerous topics – prompting us to rename them ADC Commerce and Community Conversations.

We hope you will contribute to these important discussions by joining us at these events, which are normally held the third Third Thursday of every month. As with all Conversations, this session will be held at the African Development Center Main Office in Minneapolis.
