‘Stand Together’ Concert and Silent Auction
Saturday, May 10, 2014 - 7:00pm
Calliope Women’s Chorus will be performing their spring concert, as well as holding their annual silent auction, on Saturday May 10th, 2014, 7:30 pm, at the Lyric Building, 765 North Hampden Ave, St. Paul (corner of University and Hampden, approx. 2270 West University).
Director Richard Carrick will lead the singers of Calliope in a full-length program that focuses on music celebrating the beauty of the earth, love won and lost, and hope and empowerment. The music of Calliope is dedicated to freedom, solidarity, and equality among women and the LGBTQ community.
The concert is free, but free-will donations are accepted and appreciated. All money raised will go toward Calliope’s outreach programs and other expenses. Calliope is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
The annual spring silent auction is Calliope’s primary fundraising event. Review and bidding on silent auction items will begin half hour before the concert, at 7:00 pm, and will continue at intermission.
