Airwaves Full of Women
KFAI celebrates IWD with 24 hours of programming starting at midnight March 8th. This day of special broadcasting provides opportunities for women’s and girls’ voices and issues to be heard on the airwaves. All of the shows are produced and hosted by women and girls from the Twin Cities.
International Women's Day is a holiday recognized by the United Nations and is celebrated throughout the world on March 8. KFAI has been celebrating International Women’s Day since 1989!
